Stay clear of this charger at all expense, as another reviewer said, it is most certainly wired incorrectly. When I inserted the charger into the helicopter, the blades started to spin even even though the helicopter was in the off position. I then smelled smoke....coming from my laptop. This lovely little charger shorted out two of my USB ports on my laptop or computer leaving a lovely burnt smell. Be aware DO NOT Order Stars
I took a chance just after reading some unfavorable reviews about reverse polarities and such, and bought this cable to charge my RC Combat Helicopters that I bought at Brookstone at Christmas time. This cable functions great for me. You plug it in to your helicopter and then the personal computer. Wait for the red light to glow at the USB finish, unplug and fly away. For three bucks it really is a no brainer.
