I ordered 2 for the reason that of the awesome price tag. I did not have any encounter with remote control helicopters. I purchased a Falcon X a few months ago and found it to be a excellent, rugged mini heli for indoor use. Great for those who are wanting to study how to fly a three channel mini heli. The gyroscope gives a level of stability that enables for fantastic controlled flight. The only draw-back that I had was right after a large number of flights, I crashed the heli into a wall. The linkage for the stablizer bar and the upper rotor broke. I could not discover the linkage as a spare portion so purchased a kit to replace the whole rotor assembly. I tried to replace the linkage from the replace rotor assembly but identified it to be shorter than the original. Lastly replaced the entire rotor assembly and it continues to give really good service.
Warning...if you are searching to move to a 4 channel working with this mini heli could pose a problem. Its so stable in flight that moving to a higher performing heli can be an problem in education. I moved to a Blade MCX and discovered it a bit challenging to study to control a 4 channel vice the Falcon X three channel.
Bottom line - this mini heli I pretty simple and easy to fly if you are moving from a two channel to a 3 channel. I would recommend the SYMA Model S107 over the Falcon X only considering the on-off switch and the battery are easier to access. Otherwise the both exhibit extremely similiar flight capabilities.
