Consumer Critiques

I purchased this product a couple of days ago. This product is so woeful in so numerous methods, that I have felt obliged to inform Amazon they should certainly not be selling it. Out of the box, the machine would not fly, due to the reality that it rotated at a rapid rate to the left.
The instruction manual, which qualifies as the worst example of Chinglish I have ever seen (and I lived in Hong Kong for 15 years) gave guidance as to how to cease this rotation, by adjusting a potentiometer. It did not tell you, nonetheless, where to uncover the potentiometer. Two hours on the internet later I have learned that:
1.This model does not have the potentiometer.
2.Sellers of this model in Malaysia say that ALL S-009's exhibit this trait soon after five hours of so of flying.
three.At least a dozen posts say that ALL examples of this model are junk.
I have returned it.

This helicopter is a piece of junk! The description says it is "effortless and stable flight." That just is not accurate. The helicopter is NOT stable. It spins and spins and spins. Once the trim is adjusted, you get about ten seconds of stable flight before the helicopter begins to spin in the opposite path! Initially, I believed this was possibly due to more than-correction. Following recharging it, I tried once again, this time adjusting the trim incredibly slowly - one click at a time. Poor thought! The helicopter started spinning out of control and crashed into the wall at which point 1 of the most important rotors broke. On best of that, the battery does not carry out as stated. A 2 hour charge equals about 5 minutes of flight time. Following 5 minutes, the helicopter does not have adequate power to get off the ground.
I made this purchase for the reason that a buddy got a Helizone Firebird. It has a lightweight metal frame, but every thing else is plastic, which includes the rotors. In a weeks time, we likely crashed it close to 200 occasions - some had been quite challenging crashes. Right after all of that, the Firebird had a couple of minor dings in the rotors and the skids were a small bent, but it nevertheless flew entirely stable. I got the Syma Apache because it looked bad a$$ and thought it would be more durable being from Syma rather of Helizone. Boy was I incorrect and I have because submitted a return request.
Bottom line is, DO NOT Purchase THIS HELICOPTER!
