To get started, I only paid $8 for this tiny rc helicopter.
This is only a two channel helicopter, which means that you can manage the throttle up and down, and steering to some degree, but additional on that later.
I put this helicopter through the ringer, with some assist from my four year old daughter (and her nerf guns). It held up fairly properly before going k-place right after about a month. I flew it about with my daughter trying to shoot it down with her nerf guns, with substantially accomplishment I'll add (and she got assist from her grandfather's shooting).
It is a rapid flying little heli that has somewhat touchy, somewhat unresponsive, somewhat iffy steering. It can only be charged from the controller, which eats into the AA batteries, but it does charge its tiny LiPo battery decently fast, in about 30-40 minutes. Flight time is excellent, at around ten minutes. Durability is fairly superior, particularly thinking of the fact that the body of the helicopter is foam, and most of the trim pieces are paper. Sounds poor, but works fine in use. If this helicopter is treated reasonably nicely, it would last a long time. One concern is that foam physique, as if you have to repair or replace anything (such as a battery) you are going to quite possibly ruin the heli when you take it apart.
In summary, you're going to get alot of entertaining out of a super low-cost heli. Appear at it as a most probably disposable toy that you happen to be going to have a blast with until it goes poor.
