The original balance bar that came with the helicopter broke on the 2nd crash. I ordered 6 of these balance bars since I believed that I would be breaking them left and proper. Nonetheless as I got to be a far better pilot I crashed much less and less critical. I'm glad I ordered 6 even though as I have two S107's and I did not want any down time if the bar should really break once again. I am particularly pleased with the item and its top quality. I'm also very pleased with the delivery time and the service from the vendor and would order any parts I need to have from them once again.

While this balance bar was a direct replacement, it is not the similar as the original balance bar on my S107. It fit well adequate, but the weights are not the very same and my S107 was no longer stable through flight. The weights were not pushed in all the way, so this might not be the same for all of these, but for the a single I received....it was not balanced and there was no way to fix it.
I did not realize this wasn't OEM... so I am out a few bucks. I'd recommend acquiring the OEM one to ensure correct operation.
